Living Instrument
Magical objects made for a purpose, lost or fulfilled. Weapons, masks. rings, dolls. Powerless to act alone.
Purposeful Design: Decide who made you and why; choose an Experience that fits and gain +1 to it.
Soul Ride: You have 3 fewer Hit Point slots. Without a Vessel you cannot move or take actions except to possess a Very Close creature.
Willing Vessel: A PC shares your spotlight; an NPC follows their agenda. Either of you can mark Hit Points taken by the other. If forced out, mark 1 Stress.
Unwilling Vessel: The target must make a Reaction Check against your Spellcast Roll result. On a success, they resist and you mark 1 Hit Point. On a failure, you inhabit them: mark 1 Stress, and the target loses all actions and abilities while you control their body. A powerful host may attempt to escape on a Long Rest.
While inhabiting a Vessel, adopt their Damage Thresholds. Your effects targeting you may target the Vessel instead. Damage taken by the Vessel does not affect you unless an attack targets all creatures in an area or targets you specifically. You are forced out if your last Hit Point is marked.
